Ikion Diving is a popular and well established 5-star Dive Center and Dive Resort offering scuba diving activities for both beginners and certified divers alike. A variety of dive sites can be explored around Alonissos island at a close distance from the diving base. Of special interest are the collections of antiquities lying on the sea bed and the fascinating variety of sea life teeming below the sea’s surface.
Steni Vala in Alonissos is a safe anchorage for private yachts and flotillas. It has an excellent choice of tavernas well known for their superb cuisine and two small supermarkets offering a wide variety of souvenirs and provisions. There is a pretty and spacious beach nearby for swimming and sunbathing. Also of interest is the monk seal sanctuary which provides care for orphaned monk seals until they can be released into the sea.
The diving center is located in the premises of Ikion Group in the beautiful Steni Vala Bay and in Patitiri. The diving center offers activities to both scuba divers and snorkellers with a variety of PADI programs. The friendly and experienced team of Ikion Diving provides all the necessary guidance and assistance to make your underwater experience a pleasant and enjoyable one.
Equipment can be hired at a small extra charge or if you prefer you can bring your own. There are showering facilities within the centre.

The guestrooms in IKION, the cafe, shop and the base of our diving center are part of the beautiful port of Steni Vala, Alonissos.
The diving center is open from April to October, seven days a week, on one of the most beautiful coastlines of Alonissos, overlooking the small uninhabited island of Peristera, a bay fully weather protected.
